Administrative History	Opened in 1911 as a parish church serving the Edgeley district of Stockport (formerly in Stockport St. Matthew parish). Between 1995 and 2007 the parish was united with Stockport St. George as “Stockport South West” parish. In 2007 it was united with Stockport St. Augustine as “Edgeley and Cheadle Heath” parish.
